Davy moved to California in March 1964. Molly met him at the airport to surprise Davy. They ran to each other and kissed each other passionately in a tight embrace. When they let each other go, they began to talk. Reaching to grab the necklace he gave her three years and said, "You're wearing the necklace I got you three years ago."
"I wear it all the time," Molly said.
"Really."
"Yeah, I do."
"You weren't lying when you said you had gotten taller. How tall are you now?"
"I'm 5'11". Looks like you have gotten taller too. How tall are you now?"
"Guess."
"Oh, I would say about 5'3"."
"That's right. 'Ow'd you guess that on the first try?" "Oh, lucky guess and that I was 5'3" when I was about 13 or 14."
Because of my alien heritage Molly thought.
"Oh did you see all those times I was in a teen magazine?"
"Yeah, I showed them off to everyone I know. I think I made some girls jealous," she said trying to keep a straight face.
"Really."
"Yes, really," she said laughing.
They walked hand in hand to the baggage claim. When they were almost to the lobby, Molly said, "There are a few people I want you to meet, Davy."
Davy said, "I have to meet my manager, luv. I can't go with you."
"That's all right just meet them. Ward's probably in the main lobby as well."
They were walking to the main lobby slowly to keep what time they had to themselves. As soon as they got to the main lobby she was go to introduce Davy to her family. When they approached Molly's mom and dad, Molly said, "Davy this is my dad: David Jackson. This is my mom: Diana Jackson. This is my sister Tiffany. These two are my younger brothers: Timmy and Tommy.
"'Ello everyone."
"Hi Davy, it's nice to meet you. We have heard so much about you," Molly's dad said.
"Same 'ere," Davy said.
Davy's manager Ward Sylvester walked to the group and said, "Davy ready to go I've been looking for you."
"Sorry I was talking to Molly and her family who came to meet me 'ere," Davy said.
"Nice to meet you all. Davy lets go. You have a full day a head of you," Ward said.
"Goodbye. I'll call you. Love you," Davy said.
"Goodbye. I love you, too. Can't wait," Molly said.
Molly and her family quickly went to their automobile and went home. Davy went with Ward Sylvester. When they arrived to Ward's house, Ward quickly showed Davy the house and the room he would be staying in.
"So that was the famous Molly. NO wonder you didn't show off any pictures of her. You wanted to keep her to yourself," Ward said with a laugh.
"I know I wanted her for myself," Davy said.
For no apparent reason Ward started laughing.
"What?" Davy asked.
"You're shorter than her," Ward said.
"Yeah, she is. The last time I saw her she was a foot taller than me. At the time I was 4'5" and she was 5'6". Besides I happen to like tall girls," Davy said which made Ward laugh even harder.
Ward left quickly so Davy could unpack his belongings. Once Davy had unpacked his put two pictures of Molly, he put them on a stand next to his bed. One of the pictures was of her when she was sixteen and the other with Molly and him in the picture. Looking at the pictures he wished that she had been with him during the three years that had past slowly. Since he was near her he felt a wave of guilt for cheating on her during those three years and he was afraid to tell her. They had become really close and completely trusted each other, which he had broken. Both girls he had wished had been her. They were moments of weakness that he wished had not happened. Though he did have the adventurous thought about the threesome he was apart of was fun, but was very wrong of him. Davy ran to the living room and quickly called Molly.
All of Molly's thought were on Davy. She was ecstatic that Davy was in California. She was able to see him more even though he would still be working but it would be different than before. She couldn't wait until he called. She was on cloud nine since she met him at the airport. No one could get her attention, not even her older brother David. Then the phone rang. Everyone in the house knew it was Davy that was calling and just out of spite her brother David answered the phone quickly.
"'Ello is Molly there?" Davy asked. "Yes she is. This is Davy right?" David asked.
David called Molly to come to the phone.
"Yes," Davy answered.
"Molly never told us what your last name is. What is it by the way?" David asked.
Molly was standing next to her brother at that moment, which she was thinking, looking, and sending her thoughts to David. She was thinking don't do the dumb American thing, David! I'll never here the end of it from Davy. It's not that she didn't want to heckle him for his last name though she had thought about it, but didn't want to be rude.
"She didn't. It's Jones." Davy said.
"Your name is Davy Jones. Like Davy Jones Locker?" David asked.
Molly glaring at David for ignoring her and still not paying any attention to her while she was there. Molly thought I'm going to kill him when both of us are off the phone!
"Yes," Davy said.
"When do you get the locker?" David said with a laugh.
At that moment Molly smacked David in the back of the head hard and punched him in the arm to which he said ow. She gave him a look that read stop embarrassing me you idiot.
"Well I get the locker when I'm 25. What happened?" Davy said.
"Really that's great. I got hit by my sister," David said.
"Oh, well. Can I talk to Molly now? It was nice talking to you."
"Yeah you, too. Here's Molly."
"Hey Davy, let me apologize for my brother. He was being stupid and he thinks he is funny when he's not," Molly said.
"That's all right. I'm use to it by now. Why didn't you tell him my last name?" Davy asked as a joke.
"I know my brother and I knew what he would do," Molly said.
"I know how to take those jokes, luv. Would you like to go out tomorrow?" Davy asked.
"That would be great. Do you want to meet at my place, your place, or somewhere else?"
"Um, 'ow about you come to Ward's."
He handed the phone to Ward so she could get the directions on how to get Ward's place. When Ward had given her all the directions to his place, he handed the phone back to Davy.
"I'll be there about four o'clock, okay," Molly said.
"That sounds great. See you then," Davy said.
"Davy I have to get off the phone right now. Mom has just finished dinner and I promised I would help set up the table and serve dinner. So, goodbye."
"Goodbye."
Next day walked out of the house to her beat up car that her father had bought her after she had passed her driving test the previous summer. Even though it was used it was still perfect to her because it was blue and the fact that it was beat up gave it personality. As she put the keys in the ignition and turned the keys, the car wouldn't start.
"Not again," she said out loud to herself.
She stepped out of the car and went to the front of the car. She lifted the hood to see what was wrong. When she found out what was wrong she walked to her dad's tool shed and grabbed a couple of tools. She was contemplating whether she should use her magic or use the tools, but she decided to use her innate science knowledge about machines and fixed the car in just two minutes. Then she went on her way to Ward's place. Once she was there she honked her horn a couple time to let him know she was, because she thought it would be funny. Then she got out of the car, stood next to the car and waited for someone to check who was outside.
As Davy walked outside, not realizing who it was, he shouted, "Okay, who's the bloody idiot who's honking the horn of their car?"
"I'm the bloody idiot," Molly replied.
Once Davy realized who it was he said, "I'm sorry. I almost forgot you were coming. I'm-you're a bit early."
She laughed watching him trip over his words and said, "That's all right. I wanted to make sure I found the place."
"Well, I'm glad you did. "
"Well get in the car midget and let's go!"
"Coming Legs."
When he opened the car door she said, "Legs. Since when did you start calling me legs?"
"When did you start calling me midget?"
"Fair enough. Don't get your knickers in a knot. I was only joking."
"So where are we going first?"
"Are you hungry? Cause I was thinking of going to The Juice Bar and getting something to eat."
"That sounds great. Just show me around this place."
"You might meet a few of my friends there."
"Groovy."
"Hopefully Leigh will be there: she's been dying to meet you."
"Really. Hey I wish I would have been with you these past three years to see your games and meet your friends."
"That's all right. Your forgiven plus you wouldn't have enjoyed it much where my dad in the Army we always move. Then school, clubs, sports, or any other activity I may be into."
As she drove them to The Juice Bar, she gave Davy a mini-tour of town like showing him the high school, the park, her house, and the drive-in movie theater. When they were almost there Molly said, "You're going to love this place even though this is the local hangout for teens. So do you like the place so far?"
"No there are a few things I don't like about, but there is something I do love about this place."
"And what's that?" She asked flirtingly.
"You."
"Oh, you say anything else like that and might get so emotional I can't drive."
"Please don't, luv we're almost there and I value my life," he said being smart.
"Oh, stop being a jerk," she said as she parked the car in front of the hangout. As they walked into The Juice Bar Davy asked, "What kind of things do they serve here?"
"Um, for drinks mainly juice, soda, or tea. Food: sandwiches of any kind plus anything greasy like fries," she said as she took in the brightly painted blue walls and the smell of the food.
"That sounds great."
As they sat down at the bar Molly said, "Hey Vince, how's business?"
"Doing great today as the place usually does with all you kids coming in. Who's the new guy that just walked in with you?" Vince said.
"Oh, this is Davy Jones my boyfriend. You know the guy I told you about," Molly said.
"Oh yeah, I remember. Isn't he kind of short for you?" Vince asked.
"Yeah well, he must like tall girls," Molly said winking at Davy.
"So Davy, what are you doing here now?" Vince asked.
"Expanding my acting career, you know, going to television maybe even movies," Davy said.
"Great. So Molly, what would you like today the usual?" Vince asked.
"No BLT today, Vince. How about The Turkey with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and cheese and to drink I would like your famous strawberry-apple slushy. Plus a side order of fries. And what would you like Davy?" Molly said.
"Hey that's my job. So that's your other usual with the SA slushy, got it. So what would you like Davy?" Vince said.
"The same thing except I would like a salad instead of fries. And I would like to try the slushy," Davy replied.
"Alrighty then that's two turkey sandwiches with mayo, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and two SA slushies with one a side order of fries and the other a salad," Vince repeated.
"Right, Vince. Oh don't forget the ketchup," Molly said.
"Okay. Will do," Vince said.
"This is a pretty nice place," Davy observed.
"Yeah, I know," said Molly.
"Molly, are you going to say a while like you usually do and work out?" Vince asked while preparing their lunch.
"No, not today, because I didn't bring in my things and I'm showing Davy around the place."
"That's sounds great."
"Hey Vince have you seen Leighanne around today?"
"No she's not, but she usually shows up before two o'clock and it's after that now. She might be at the library studying. You know how she is."
"Okay thanks."
"No problem."
After they had received there meal Davy asked, "So you work out here sometimes?"
"Yeah," she said and pointed to the end that had the gym equipment which was to their right, "right over there."
"Very interesting."
Davy took a sip of his slushy and was surprised by the flavors swirling in mouth.
"Wow that was great," Davy said, "You usually get this."
"Yeah, it's Vinces' best slushy mix. People come from everywhere to try this slushy," Molly said.
"Oh, really they do," said Davy with every word dripping with sarcasm.
They spoke while they ate. Vince realizing they were almost done brought the check. Before Davy had a chance to pick it up, Molly beat him to it and he said, "'Ey I was going to pay for that. It's the gentlemanly thing to do."
Molly glared at him and said, "No you are not. I am."
"But-"
"Don't argue with her. She almost punched Leighanne's boyfriend over something like this. If she wants to pay for her part or the whole bill let her," Vince said.
"Yeah what he said. No really, one you just moved and you are going to need your money until you get a job, Actor Boy. Two, Vince, whether it's cash or what, prefers to be paid by his regulars especially if they are with someone new: he doesn't trust them for some reason, but he won't say that."
"Ignore that last part, Davy; she's just joking with you. I don't mind people who don't usually come in here pay for their food when they are with a regular. Another thing that you really must head: don't argue with women, especially with this one. She'll ring your neck if you do," Vince said with a smile.
Molly quickly winked at him as if to say 'I told you so.'
"I've know that about her for a while now, Vince," Davy said.
Molly quickly paid Vince and said, "Great meal as usual, Vince. Going to show Davy some more of the city and look for Leigh. See you later."
"See you later, then."
They were taking in the sights as they were going towards the community park, because the library was near the park. As they reached the park Molly saw a bright candy-apple red Chevy parked in the lot belonging to Leighanne. She could see next to a nearby tree a girl with long blonde hair who Molly knew was Leighanne and her current boyfriend, Mark Springs, going to sit at the picnic next to that same tree. After making sure that it was them Molly told Davy as calmly as she could, "There she is with Mark. Let's go over and meet them."
Molly parked her car. They walked over to the picnic table to accompany Leighanne and Mark. Molly notice David fidgeting and asked, "Is anything wrong?"
"No," he quickly answered.
"Okay. If you say so, but just incase you are Leigh is no going to hate you or hurt you unless you give he a reason to like me," Molly said.
"Thanks, that makes me feel loads better, I think," David said.
"Don't worry she already likes you. She'll just love you when she actually meets you," Molly said.
"Hey Leigh," Molly said pulling Leighanne into a hug.
"Hey ML," Leighanne said continuing the hug between them and finally letting go.
"Hey Mark. Davy this is Leighanne and Mark. Leigh, Mark this is Davy," Molly said.
"'Ello everyone," Davy said.
"Hey Davy," Leigh said pulling Davy into a hug.
"Hi, Leighanne right?" Davy asked.
"That's right," Leigh replied.
"You people like to hug don't you?"
"It's comes with the territory Davy. We are very close people."
"Let's sit down, shall we?" Molly suggested.
"Yes," all agreed.
As soon as they sat down Davy asked, "The last time I heard anything about you having a boyfriend you were dating Eric, I believe?"
"Davy as you should be one to figure out, lot of things can happen in three years," Leighanne said.
"Yeah, that's a good thing or I wouldn't be in the picture," Mark said.
"You're a much better guy than Eric by far," Molly said.
"I know I am. I not that jerk," Mark said.
"We know, well except for Davy who now knows, that's why I said what I said," Molly said.
"So Davy how tall are you actually?" Mark asked.
"I'm 5'3"," Davy answered. "What are you a jockey?" Mark asked.
"Yes, as a matter a fact I was an apprentice before I got the part in 'Oliver!'." Davy said.
"Right. You're last name is-," before he finished what he was saying both Leighanne and Molly glared at him as if to say if you finish that statement it'll be your last one.
"So you are an actor right?" He asked quickly changing the subject.
"Yeah, my manager and I are going to Columbia Pictures sometime this week to meet with some of the executives to get me a contract," Davy said.
"That sounds groovy," The other three said.
"Hey weren't you on Ed Sullivan last month when the Beatles were on?" Mark asked.
"Yeah I was," Davy said.
"That was an awesome performance," Mark said.
"Yeah, I couldn't keep-" Molly said before she stopped herself and looked at Davy.
"Go on with what you were going to say and don't just say that the Beatles are a talented music group. Just say you like Paul and get it over with. It's the only other time next to Davy you haven't kept your month shut about a guy," Leighanne said.
Molly knew that if she didn't have a dark complexion, they could really tell that she was blushing. Knowing that Davy was getting jealous kiss him on the lips and said, "You know that I love you right, Paul McCartney couldn't get in the way."
They talked for another 30 minutes and before the four left Mark and Davy were having a chat and Leighanne and Molly were having chat with each other.
"Davy's a really sweet guy. I really like him. You can tell that he loves you. The other thing maybe it's because I've been around you for along time, but I have a feeling that he's keeping something from you. Have you told him your 'secret' to him yet?" Leighanne asked.
"No, not yet, but I'm going to," Molly said.
Mark to Davy, "I've only known Molly for about two years now and I can tell when she's happy and she's the happiest around you. You can see it in her eyes as well as how much she loves you."
"Nice to meet you as well."
"Goodbye, Davy. It was nice to meet you," Leighanne said to Davy.
"Goodbye, it was nice to meet you, too," Davy said.
"Are you ready to go? I have one more place to show you. See you Leigh, Mark," Molly said.
Davy and Molly walked slowly hand-in-hand to her blue car. Even though she had showed him where she lived, she was going to give him a tour of the house.
"Luv are you lost, you already showed me where you live?" Davy asked.
"I know Davy. I'm going to show you the inside," Molly said.
"Oh," Davy said.
"Yes," Molly said.
Molly parked her car in front of her house next to the side walk. None of her parents were home. Her dad was either on the army base or with Leighanne's dad working out a company problem and her mom probably took Tiffany, Timmy, and Tommy with her to the grocery store. As they walked into the house, Davy said, "You have such a big house and where are you mum and dad?"
"I know. You need a lot of room for six sometimes seven people. There's one room for my parents, one room for Tiffany and me which Tiffany will be taking one of the guest rooms as her own since she wants her own room, one for Timmy and Tommy, one for David when he stays here on the weekend when he decides to, and two guest rooms soon to be one because of Tiffany.
"Then there's the den which is not just a book library but a music library, which it's also a guest room in there too, because there's a bed just in case one of us fall a sleep reading a book in there. Plus there are three bathrooms."
"Wow. That sounds great. I would like to see your room."
"You will soon enough, naughty boy," she said laughing.
Once she showed him her brother's room there was one room for her to show: hers. Molly room was clean except for Tiffany's side of the room, but on the wall and on the shelves Davy could see pictures of Molly, Molly with her friends, Molly with him, and pictures of just him. After they walked into her room, Molly closed the door behind them. She sat down on her bed and without being asked Davy sat down next her. Molly began to speak, "Maldito! This is so hard. I don't know what to say."
"What did you just say?" Davy asked.
"I said damn that's what maldito means Spanish."
"Ok, what was it you wanted to say?"
"I'm sorry. I'm trying to not speak as much Spanish as I usually do around you because it's half of what usually comes out of my mouth and if I didn't you'd be really confused."
"That's okay it's who you are."
"As I was trying to say," she started to stay slowly. "I wanting to know if we start where we left off or start things off a bit slow. What do you think?"
"I think we should start where we left things off because we really didn't break up and continued from where we left off as best we could. Besides I want to feel the softness of your skin again and I don't want to wait."
"Neither do I, Davy. I want to start where we left off in our relationship. I just wanted to know if you did too."
As if to answer her Davy began to kiss her with so much passion to make up for the last three years. Then Davy started to wonder what if Molly's parent's walked in on them and stopped kissing her to ask, "What will you parents think?"
"Oh, um. Mom would be really upset. Dad would only pretend to be more upset then he actually is just to please Mom. I'm not saying he lets us get away with everything, but he knows I can take care of myself and can set my own limits. So I can do this as long as I'm not a tramp about it. It would probably be worse if I or we were caught having sex. Making out is completely different."
"So he would be mad and your Mum would be ballistic."
"Yeah, that's it. I'm her oldest daughter and she doesn't want anything to happen to me, plus she's a very strict Catholic, but I'm not. She'll just have to get her panties in a twist over this. Dad sees this as a way for us to get to know ourselves, what we want, and what we look for in a potential mate."
"OK," he said taking the information in.
He started to kiss her just as furiously as before. He slowly moved his hand to the top of her shirt and began to unbutton her shirt. She move her to hands to begin unbuttoning his shirt. Soon both had their shirts on the floor. He moves his hand to her back and unhooked her bra. Then he helped her take it arms to the floor. He began to feel her up which drove her wild. She didn't know how she lived without his touch for nearly three years. Then he lowered her gently onto her back. He began to lick and suck her right breast. She began to moan from his touch. Every time she would moan he would suck her breast even more. He stopped and began to kiss her on the lips.
She moved her hand between both of them and grabbed his crotch. He began to harden with her grasp. Each second she held him he would moan and she enjoyed the sounds that he made. After she let him go he let out one last moan and said, "Tease. That's what you do to me is tease. What are you teasing me for?"
Giving him a smile to say I know and said, "Payback for what you're doing to me. Not that I don't enjoy what you do to me, I just wanted to do it to you."
"Luv, you always do."
They began kissing again and Molly wrapped her left leg around Davy. After a few minutes Davy went back to sucking her breast and she started to feel the soft skin on his back. Davy moved his hands to her waist and began to unbutton her pants. Then he proceeded to remove her pants and panties, but she stopped him.
"No, Davy! I don't want to do this!" Molly said.
"Why?" Davy said but then it came to him, "You're a virgin, aren't you?
"Well yes! If I wasn't that would have meant I would have cheated on you these past three years!" she exclaimed as she was stating the obvious.
She was not ignorant to the fact that Davy had sex with other girls before her and it didn't bother her. It was his life before her, but now that he was with her and she wanted to wait at least for now. Davy didn't know what to say and he just stared at her blankly. As if he had gotten the message, he moved he hand from her waist and they began to make out again. Soon her mom came home, but neither of them heard the front door open and close downstairs. She didn't hear her sister's footsteps coming up the stairs and open the door. Tiffany just stood there waiting to be noticed. Molly had the feeling that David and her were being watch. She stopped kissing Davy, who moved to her neck, to look to her right and was staring right at her 11 year old sister.
"Davy stop! Tiffany's in here!" Molly said.
"What?" Davy asked.
"Tiffany's in here," Molly said.
Davy stopped and Molly said in a loud whisper, "What are you doing in here?"
"Mom and I are home from grocery shopping. So I suggest you to get dressed and come downstairs before mom suspects anything," Tiffany said.
"Well go then. So we can!" Molly said impatiently.
Tiffany left the room. Molly grabbed her bra and shirt off the floor and hurriedly put them on. Davy grabbed his shirt off the floor and just buttoned it up.
As she was brushing her hair she said, "You're so lucky you just have to put your shirt on."
Then to tease her about it he stuck out his tongue. She her brush at him and said, "I know it's a girls brush, but use it anyways so Mom won't suspect a thing."
He did as she asked and when he was done with the brush he put it on her dresser. They began to walk down stairs Molly said, "That was the last room to see in the house. Now we're going back downstairs to help Mom put away the groceries. When David approached Molly's mom he said, "Mrs. Jackson you have such a lovely house."
"Why thank you Davy. Call me Diana. Mrs. Jackson is to formal for me in this case," Diana said.
Once they were done putting the groceries away, Diana asked Davy, "Do you want to stay for dinner?"
"Mom he can't his manager and him are going to Columbia Pictures tomorrow and try to work out a contract sometime this week. He might be going tomorrow so I need to take him back to Ward's place," Molly said.
"All right if you're sure about it. Molly remember it's your turn to set the table so you'll have to do it when you come back. Can't wait to see you again, Davy," Diana said.
"You too. I'll come back again sometime when I'm not so busy," Davy said.
Once they were on the road to Ward's Davy wanted to say something but ended up sighing loud which got Molly to say, "What's wrong, hon?"
"Nothing," he said thinking that this would not be the appropriate time to tell her what happen in those three years.
Molly wanting to tell him she was part alien and completely giving up on being told what was wrong from Davy she sighed loudly as well.
Davy asked, "What's wrong with you?" "Nothing wrong." Liar she told herself.
Soon they were at Ward's and when they were both out of the car, they walked to the door together.
"This isn't right. I should be the one to walk you to the door," Davy protested.
"I drove the car. I get to walk you to the door and be the guy," she said laughing. They kissed their final and goodnight kiss. While this was happening Molly felt a shocking, but sickening feeling in the pit of her stomach. She knew it was a sign that she was meant to be with Davy, but not the getting pregnant sign she just a few years before joked with a cousin of hers. She grabbed her stomach because it was painful as well. Noticing this Davy stopped kissing her and said, "Luv are you okay?" "I'm okay. I just got a sharp pain in my side," she said half lying. "All right, good night luv. Talk to you later," Davy said. "Goodbye, Davy. Can't wait." Then Molly drove home.
Where to go to next?
